If I could minus the stars I would.... a serious waste of money.

The only good thing about this movie was the end. I should have listened to the reviews I read before I went. So, I say I deserved the torture due to ignorance, but you don't have to. I just saved you 2 hours and ten bucks. I would rather have watched paint dry...Honestly. One star is gracious, too bad they dont have integers.

DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE! I'm an M. Night fan and this is his worst film to date. Great concept and potential that falls very fast due to horrible acting, casting, script, and overall character development. This was my last M. Night film.

Once again M. Night writes, produces and directs a sleeper. This was a horrible statement on the environment. The acting was terrible, the camera work was weak and the writting was too expositional. I hate films that have to have a character explain the plot, it really doesn't give the audience a chance to comprehend the plot. Do not waste your money, rent it. I think Night should simply direct, leave the writting to the pros.

I found this movie deeply disturbing. Shame on the Director and the Producers for trying to make money from such an emotional subject. I would not suggest anyone to go and see this terrible movie.

horrible!!!!!!! waste of time! stupid ending! this movie sucks! boring!

interesting concept, and starts promisingly enough .. but undeveloped script is a big downfall. bring a pillow and a blanket, a suspenseful movie without suspense is like a comedy without jokes. all of which is unfortunate, considering this is being sold as a shyamalan work.

There should have made it "The Not Happening", that's just 2 hours of people not really doing anything. I would have gladly paid $10 and spent my time watching that over this piece of garbage.

1 star was too generous a rating for this piece of trash. I had high hopes that this would be a comeback for M. Night, but it was the worst thing I've seen in a long time. Everything about it was very amatuer, certainly not what you'd expect from one of Hollywood's top directors.

Most of these people who are writing all these comments,I suggest they take a proper reading and writing coarse, because their grammer is the most attrocious. They all sound at par with 1st graders or less, not to mention their taste in movies. Myself I was totally creeped out by this flic, and if that's the case that means I really liked it. I place it on nearly the same level as Blair Witch. I highly recommend this movie to All the others can go watch Disney. Great work M. Knight, looking forward to your next project. :)

The point in the movie where a number of people in their cars converged at a crossroad was the turning point in the film. I was generally apprehensive as to what they were going to face. Then the director blew it. I will not give the utterly improbable plot away but will say that M. Night Shymalan must retire as a one hit wonder with only the Sixth Sense as a credible movie under his repetoir.

WTF? What a waste of time & money!

This was a horrible movie! There is no explanation for what the people are seeing and hearing and why this happened. I left the theater feeling chipped. I'm shocked that Mark Walberg saw something in this script. I thought he would of had better taste than to chose to be part of this movie.

Who ever decides to see this movie next,do us all a favor. Burn the screen before it begins. Trust me. It's worth it.

wow i cant believe there are people that could actually 5 star this movie. it was absolutley and utterly awful. the plot line was incredibly dumb and the effects were something you would see on you tube. save your money and read a book or stab your eyes with a pen because this movie is the worst thing to hit the cinema since red dawn.

M.NIGHT SHALAMAN STOOPS TO A NEW LOW. i can't believe this movie was as bad as it was. i usually like his films, but this one was just terrible. there were no special effects, the plot was slow and uneventful, the acting was terrible, and the microphone was even showing in like over 10 different scenes! poor guy, his career is going to go down the tubes after this one... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ONE FOLKS!

everything in this movie was horrible. painful to sit through and even more painful that i paid for it. dont waste your money or your life seeing it you'll just be disappointed(and i even love mark wahlberg as an actor)

this was not one of M.Nights best movie, there was no character development,or anything, there was some sketchy parts with that old lady, and it was just not that great. I am disappointed. His best movies are Unbreakable ans Signs.

Truly terrifing. You feel the terror in the people and relate to it. This was captured perfectly and the plot was plausible. [yes bees are really disappearing...]. But the horrible camera work in some scenes, and just err - odd acting at some points ruined it. One or two drafts away from an amazing movie. D

My wife and I waited in line with the panda-kids to see this "happening". We couldn't wait for another thrilling-twisting-mind-blowing ride from M... it was simply disappointing!

Very very disappointing, predictable, boring movie, would have rated -1 star if I could, not exactly sure how this movie made it into the theaters. I would advise anyone planning to watch it to save their 10 or so dollars and 1.5 hours.

There are very few geniuses working in Hollywood these days, but M. Night Shyamalan is one of them. This movie may or may not keep you guessing through out, but it certainly makes you think. Some people may call the premise of this movie "dumb" or "retarded" but those people are the ones that have forgotten what it's like to think. In fact, the premise of this movie is one of those things that gets overlooked by society, when it's probably a lot closer to being believable than say, aliens landing on our planet and causing havoc. The problem with writing, directing and producing your whole film alone is that noone has the chance to tell you how badly it sucks so you carry on with the misguided notion that you have created something worthwhile.

The only bright spot in this dud was Betty Buckley's acting (about 5 min). Mark Wahlberg was pathetic (it must've been the direction)Mr. Shyamalan take a break! Or switch your genre.

How disappointing!! I have enjoyed every one of M.Nights movies but this one was horrible. Mark Walberg acted like this was his first acting role and the story started well but went down in flaems at the end. This is the first time a movie has made me mad after seeing it. Even bad movies have something in it to take from it. Not this one!!

A little disturbing, typical M. Night Shyamalan movie, so it was no surprise that it wasn't going to be great...but the acting was horrible. If it weren't for the acting I think my friends and I might not have thought it was 'as bad'.

This movie actually deserves a 'black hole' rather than one star. The acting was mediocre, the plot line pathetic, and the cinematography mundane. It was as if someone said "What if plants rebelled" and then built a movie around the sentence. Don't waste your time seeing it.

k it was good and it wasn't. i really was hoping for a super scary flick, it had tons of funny moments though, which was nice for a thriller

I have been a huge fan of M. Night but I must say that this was one of the worst pieces of garbage I've ever sat through. What a disappointment. The writing, directing, casting, acting, it was all terrible. Nothing positive I can say.
