The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

This was NOT based on a true story, but inspired, same with the original. It was inspired by Ed Gien who wore leather masks of human skin, made funiture out of human parts, ung dead people on hooks and some necrophila, but that`s it. No Hewitt`s, or chainsaw or Leatherface. You should do some research on it, it`s all over the internet if you look in the right places. But true or not it was a fantastic movie and deserves 5/5 stars with great acting, special effects and very sacry and interesting!! Recommended! See it now!!!

I thought it was really fantastic. It was just like the book. I always knew Thomas Hewitt was still alive!! But what happened to the others??

The movie was awesome. It is a real horror movie to watch with o bunch of ur friends at a party. I watch it at a party for the first time and ill never forget how trully scared i was. i would definatly watch it over and over and over. The best movie i have seen in years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Loved the movie but was this a real life massacre

One thing I don`t understand. How can people still chose the original over this one?? The original made hardley any sense. The family was so messed up. This one actually made sense and there was an actual story! Another thing, a lot of the comments here say, "This movie wasn`t scary". So what if the movie wasn`t that scary? Does that mean it was a bad movie? No way! Stop whining! This is the best horror movie ever!

WOW!!!!! it is the best horror film i`ve ever seen in my entire life... it really gave me the creeps! definetely the best horror movie ever made... i had gosebumps all over from the beginning to the end, and even after! kool!!!!!

that movie is the movie to see to think that it actually happened makes you wonder when i first saw it it made me think alot because of what those five people went through just to survive, but on the fun or not so fun side it made me want to take a ride with 4 of my friends and go to travis county texas and visit the hewitt residence if they still have it standing

so good and scary, really creeped me out. i usually prefer orignals but in this case it`s made even better loved the actors and the acting they did in this movie. LOVED IT! THANK-YOU time well spent.

The scariest horror movie i have ever seen!! I`m only 13 years old and i am forever watching horrors, i`m not scared easily and because it was sooooooo good i watched it over and over again and my dad loves hoorors too and we watched about 4/5 times in one day. What made it sooooo scary was that it`s based on a true story!!10/10

I live right outside of Travis County and can`t believe to this day that they havbe never caught the real killer and it is scary to think that he could still be killing. I am sure that he has retired his chainsaw after 31 years but still just the thought makes me cringe.

The movie is very scary, but very sad I cann`t even thing all the suffering this people lived.

I was kinda disappointed when I looks stuff up on the net after watching the movie just to find that most of what happened wasnt true. Other than that though I really liked the movie I have only had it for 5 days and watched it 3 times already.

I think this was the greates horror film of all time, The Remake really did this movie justice and should be how people remember this story, rather then the old films of the 70`s-1994

I loved the movie! It was really scary and very entertaining.. it kept me in suspense and I couldn`t stop holding on to my seat! The cast was great too.

I like it, Texas chainsaw massacre is one of the best scary movies that i have see. It have a lot of violence but is still great.

I THOUGHT THE MOVIE WAS GREAT.I HAVE TWO SON`S 18 AND 19. THAT LOVED IT AS MUCH AS I DID.ITS A SCARY THOUGHT THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT ARE REALY LIKE THAT.KNOW THATS MESSED UP.LOL

The new one had a freaky plot but i liked the alternate ending best. it was a very gorey movie and I normally watch comedy and this was too scarey. the old one was stupid.
