i think wicker man was a vey interesting,suspensful and thrilling movie,i wasnt bored 1 second.it wasnt scary like it looked,but it was a bit...not much,id definiatally give it 4 stars,its a great movie,but its very disturbing and creapy,but its great go see it

I can`t imagine a worse choice of roles for Ellen Burstyn or Nicolas Cage.What were they thinking?The screenwriter/s should be forced to watch this movie until they recognize its sheer stupidity.Seeing Cage point a handgun at a woman in a bird mask and saying."Step away from the bicycle",still makes me shiver with pity that he has sunk so low.This is not to mention Cage showing up at a Pagan festival in a Bear costume and trying to blend in with the other worshippers.A laugh also escaped when Ellen Burstyn shows up in facepaint as a leftover character from Braveheart.Sad,sad,sad for all involved.Save your money and try to see the original.

I can`t say how disappointed am to find this movie so full of cruelty and deception. I am a Nickolas Cage fan but even he could not save this one. Bad taste, bad feelings and a waste of money.

Predictable and really a waste of money. I gave it 3 stars but really I was being generous! Nicholas needs to step out of the box and take some risks in the characters he portrays. He used to be enjoyable to watch, but now it`s pretty much the same old thing movie after movie.

THE WICKERMAN WAS AMAZING...I still can`t get over the phenominal storyline, amazing acting, and that crazy twist at the end...I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING AT ALL. If there were ever 2 hours of my life that I will NEVER forget, it was these...and maybe the birth of my first born...whom I sacrficed to the goddess. Oh wait, that was the movie, sorry, I so wished to be a part of that world. Well, back to the apiary.

This is one of those movies that is sooooo bad it`s actually funny, but not funny enough to have made it worth the price of a ticket (or DVD rental) to see. What Nicolas Cage was thinking when he first read the script before signing on for this is anyone`s guess ...perhaps he thought that it *was* a comedy (it did, after all, call for him to do a scene dressed up in a bear costume). The dialogue could have been written by a 12 year old.

Waste of time and money. i jumped in a couple parts but other then that it was dissapointing.. i want my money back.

I am embarrassed that I paid money to see this movie, Cages acting was commical, but it wasn`t supposed to be. This made it to my Top 5 worst movies of all time list.

A very good Movie. I was definitely surprized on how it ended. Nicholas Cage did a great job although it wasn`t as scary as I had originally thought it would be. Overall it`s still a good Movie.

Great movie, if you enjoy really really bad movies.

This movie was absolutely disgusting. I think Nicolas Cage is an amazing actor, and I usually enjoy his movies; so what he was thinking when he signed up for this; I don`t know. My mouth fell open with disguss from this and I am still amazed when I think that someone could actually make such a movie. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE ANY OF YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS;It is not worth them turning a profit!!!!!

AWFUL. Absolutely terrible. Save your money. This was poorly acted by all including Nicolas Cage. He should be ashamed of himself for participating in such an idiotic film. This movie is not only degrading towards anyone who is female, it is just horrendous. I wasted two hours of my life - if you have any underwear that need cleaning, stay home. You`ll have a better time.

really weird, save your money; reminded me of The Village; story was weak, but Nicolas Cage did a good job nonetheless

One of the worst movies I`ve ever seen. It had great promise in the beginning but rapidly lost credibility with poor story line, bad acting and even worse ending. It was reminiscent of White Noise but at least that movie had some creepy parts and you got spooked a little.

It`s a shame that there isn`t a "zero-stars" option because it pains me to even give this movie one star out of five. This movie makes "Gigli" look like "The Godfather".

the movie was disappointing in my opinion, it had no sense of horror, there was a twist in the end but the audience wasnt all that into the movie

I will reiterate another viewers comments, PLEASE DON`T WASTE YOUR MONEY. The plot is appauling totally confusing and pointless. We are currently on a two week vacation from Wales and have just wasted 2 hours on this crap, we strongly advise you to watch a British movie called "TWIN TOWN" now this is a brilliant film.

Half decent film. Great cast and special effects. however, it has a lot of unreasonable twists and turns. if your looking for film where you won`t have to "think" to hard don`t go.

Terrible movie! Seemed like Nicolas Cage was reading the lines for the first time from cue cards behind the camera. But all the actors seemed that way. The script was so bad they were probably embarassed anyway. HUGE disappointment.

This movie was such a disappointment that I actually had to tell you all so you don`t waist your time and money. It has such bad acting and no story line. That you can make any sence out of anyways. You may get a laugh out of it at the end because it is so stupid. As for Nicolas Cage, I believe he has lost is acting ability and should no longer do movies for the big screen. So if this is not enough to make you listen to my warning than concider this, opening night for a movie and only a had full of people show up......... hmmmmmm. I can not believe I fell for the previews and flushed good money down the toilet. PLEASE STAY HOME!!!!!!! =)

Kind of a let down, I had much higher expectations!

This movie was disturbed...thats all i can say. Whoever comes up with movies like this...has issues and needs to see a counsler. Like it was just the strangest movie ever and you have to have a disturbed mind to come up with a story line like that!

If you enjoy watching movies with good characters, interesting plots, and sensible endings than don`t go watch this movie!

Theaters should give people money back for movies this bad.
