its my # 1 of most hated movies now! yes, spider-throwing-Gordzilla! you suck!

OMG..! what a waste of time.I came out shaking in fury....no plot, no action, no shooting, no clear shots of monsters either. This one is definite #1 crap on the chart. Ohh...I give both thumbs up for producers of this movie, was a very clever $ grabbing idea, brilliant, a true dissapointment as a movie though.

One of the best film to come out in theaters, a lot of people may disagree with me but this film was way better then Rambo! in every level... Even in box office Clover field became number 1 while Rambo became number 2 this week!

Couldn't even watch it. It made me sick.

First off, this is not the perfect nor the worst movie produced. Personally, I hated how the camera kept moving and turning - it made me nauseous. But the effects were amazing and the realism is beyond perfect. The ending was a bit... incomplete but overall: 3/5 but don't watch if you have motion sickness.

I really enjoyed this movie. For those of you expecting a cool movie with aliens being blown up by some idiot action hero, go see something else. This movie is about a group of friends trying to survive a disaster. The twist is the monster. And it is this twist that makes the movie such a great movie. The special effects were great, as well the acting was very good. I found myself getting so into the movie I wanted to yell at the characters when they did something stupid, but yet believable. I recommend this to all those movie viewers out there who have not seen a good plot in years.

i rate this craptacular movie a -100 out +100 story has no beginning and no end. yes it may be a personal video but for someone to play the video they should be able to at least show or tell what happened after the fact. and that stupid blair witch style videography is such a way of telling a story. only good if u like getting people sick. and as for the fact that this type of recording, is to make it realistic. it sure didn't look realistic at all with everything that happened.

We were excited...the movie started out like no other before. Test pattern, interesting text... This was followed by 10 - 15 minutes of build up and then 70 minutes of some people running around the city with a camcorder in tow. Good acting...I think. No plot. So this movie was about what? Too bad they didn't use less crazy shaky camcorder, added more explanation ie. charter development, then added an ending. DO NOT PAY TO SEE IN THE THEATER. Wait to rent it. I don't write many reviews but this was important I warn you, it's too short and my wife almost had motion sickness from all of the running around. Too bad, it really could have been much more.

I can't understand some people. You guys say why did they show this scene if they didn't expand on it? Why was the first twenty minutes so boring? Why were there so many un-answered questions? HELLO?? IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THAT WAY! It's supposed to have the realism feeling! The people in the film didn't know what was going on and it was supposed to be them filming! Therefore the person watching isn't supposed to know anymore than the people filming! This was intentional! This movie was VERY well done and I give it 5 stars. For those of you complaining about the camera movement; all those who have motion sickness, STOP YOUR WHINING AND COMPLAINING AND JUST DON'T SEE IT! Just because you can

For all the people who said this movie sucks...you are complete idiots. what dont you like about it... the amazing action,the visual effects, the great camera angles? this movie will go down as one of the best movies of 2008 and all the haters will feel like idiots, watch this movie i guarantee you will love it... if you have any taste.

Unfortunately it's just another monster attacks new york city movie. I'd say the monster could have been better.

I'm 37 and it was the worst movie i have ever seen. It must of cost about $10 to make it. If you dare to see it bring lots of ASPRIN......IT SUCKED...!

Great movie, as realistic of a alien coming to earth as can be expected (for those who have seen it and can't figure out where it came from, watch it again and in the last scene, looking at the water watch closely .....this dosn't ruin anything for those who haven't seen it yet.)

This movie has no storyline. (Monsters looking like grasshopper attack New York then everyone died) It is just War of the Worlds filming in Blair Witch Style. Poorly done!!! I hope this is the last of this kind of movie. Btw....Don't listen to people who said this movie is so exciting and worth seeing!!

The movie was aweful. Flat right from the beginning. NO depth to characters, poorly written, and the whole camcorder effect was aweful. Just made you feel sick.

It was very realistic but you feel so nauseous because of the camera movement!!

A realism feel and good special effect and in my opinion this is one of the better sci fi film to come like The Mist and I am Lengend...

maybe if you bothered to read what i read ... but i guess your pompous elitist foreigner arrogance prevents you from seeing what i actually wrote ... i actually think the movie was a passable effort, but the expert camera work was truly a distraction that spoiled it. but i guess the endorsement of a moron like you, should serve as a warning to all (including me) to stay away from movies like this. if you're looking for suggestions to induce vomiting other than dumping ten bucks wastefully, let me know, i might be able to oblige you.

it was awesome movie. Realistic is outstanding, and way the movie recoreded was dizzy enough to made me puke.

I went into this movie expecting crap but came out pumped and excited! After getting used to the camera, and the fact that a movie passed the year 2005 could actually have an interesting suspensful story i fell in love. Awesome Movie, Awesome effects, Aweesome Acting, Awesome story, Awesome Ending, and you will think so too if you didnt have the attention span of a watermelon

ENDING WAS PERFECT! It's supposed to be a personal video, take it as it is, no personal video wraps things up nicely. It's a perspective into a group of people expereincing this event first hand. There's no need to a definite ending! I agree about the camera shaking though, sit at the back, but I've seen it 3 times and I'm not complaining. GREAT MOVIE! cannot wait for the DVD! Just go see it and HAVE FUN!!!

I was just plain bord throughout the entire movie. I saw it with about twelve people and I was the only person in the theatre it seemed who didn't like it

The worst movie I have ever seen in my whole life. I would give it a zero if I could. I feel cheated, pissed and sick to my stomach.

I felt sick, in the end i was dizzy and wanted to hurl. I movie was good in the way it seemed real but the video camera effect still made it hard to watch. Im glad it was only 1hr 20min. I should have left when half of everyone else left(halfway thru).

This movie sucked! Way to corny!! Its trying to put a real life feel and turns into a cheesy love thing with bodies exploding everywhere. If this was real life, the camera would have broke down and everyone would be out of controle. The US forces proved to be tough as hell in this movie, killing a giant "Thing" but can't win the war in Irac, or take care of people from a Huracain named Katrina....

it sucks so bad what the hell were they thinking making this movie
