Very plausible

Definitely worth seeing...very realistic...and really makes you think about the possibility of something like this happening!!

I didn't find it as 'scary' as I thought it would be. Ok I see the looting of stores and houses and fear of people touching each other but it didn't seem as hardcore as I thought it would be especially if 25million people died!! If that many people were contagious or dead there would be way more mass hysteria and violence I think. Instead of how fairly controlled and contained it seemed. But to trace it back and see that mother nature is just as deadly as any virus we could create. Strange though, in these sort of movies we can find a cure, but AIDS epidemic still nothing. Love Hollywood fantasy.

I feel this movie will be an Oscar contender for Best Film: Steven Soderbergh has put together an extremely gripping movie that will be considered a classic with the passage of time. I agree in principle with a previous poster who questioned the intelligence of those who panned this film without specifying any concrete reason for doing so (or, in many cases, without even bothering to make any attempt at utilising correct grammar and spelling). I differ, however, in the optimism of my outlook: while the previous poster complained that many of the other preceding fan reviews came from really unintelligent people, I like to believe that these same bad reviews came from exceptionally intelli

For some reason tribute.ca seems to only have mainly retards reviewing the films because all the shittiest braindead garbage films get 5 stars and great reviews when films that reach the heights that Contagion does get no respect and are yawned upon. This is one of the best films all year, Soderbergh is an amazing director and cinematographer. The story is haunting and brilliant. Almost a new-age 12 monkeys. The only thing that's been in theatres for the last few months worth a damn.

Movie was very slow going. If you watched the news when SARS or H1N1 was on it you pretty much saw the movie. The only new thing you see is how the CDC and world health places investaged into it.. was okay. Happy it was toonie Tuesday though!!

Not for the uninformed, ill educated or teens. However, if you are none of the above you'll likely really get it and get into it. Serious and entertaining topic. Well done!

Very poor movie. I started laughing at the brain autopsy and it went downhill from there. No plot. Unfinished sub-plots. It looks like they new they screwed up and tried to weave up something fast to make some money back.

This was worth watching once. It was very good, but as with what other people said, I expected a bit more, just missed a bit of fast-pase "panic" I guess

This movie was awesome. I was hooked from beginning to the end. I didn't even get up to get a refill on drink or popcorn =) It really shows you how things spread and how something so simple like washing your hands or covering your mouth can help stop the spread of germs. Definitively go see this one

This is a 90 minute movie thst seemed to tske 3 hours to watch. Kept waiting for something to happen but nothing ever did. A thrilless thriller. Save your money, please.

Sorry - boring and weak character study

Superb Acting, Plot reminded me of another film's... really well-done on Steven's part, Realistic look at what we can become, and how contagious fear really is, This SHOULD be an Oscar Contender

Don't listen to bad reviews for this movie it's a great film those bad reviews should be on a movie like Bucky Larson Born To Be A Star which looks really bad compare to this great film.

Too much star power wasted on too little plot.

This movie stinks! Not even Matt Damon could save it. If I wanted to see a documentary, I would have stayed home. Confusing, meandering plot, very little character development, and the big names only have co-star roles. Save your money.
