Worst movie of the decade!!!!!

JUST GO SEE THIS ONE!!! Such a great movie, really makes you appreciate the times you`ve experienced in life. Like the old saying "Don`t be sad because it`s over, be glad because it happened." Very enjoyable and fun, yet also though provoking and interesting. Really very good :) GO SEE IT!!! :)

i thought that this could have been an excellent movie if you would just pull your act together!! is it a comedy or a horror?? its your choise but for god sakes ONE OR THE OTHER!!!

A romantic film for intelligent people. Dumb people should stay home and watch Friends reruns. If you`ve ever wished that a past relationship had never happened, this will make you realise that those people exist deep within you, much more than simply in your memories.

I walked out with a giant smile on my face. This movie was amazing. It touched on all my emotions. I started loving it, then I thought it was weak, then it turned me back into loving it. It is very rare a movie can do that. Jim Carrey was amazing, it`s time people face the fact that he is not just a comedic actor. He has talent and a lot of it. And Kate Winslet blew me away. I haven`t seen anything from her since Titanic, so I almost didn`t recognize her. They both clicked very well. I would suggest you see this movie. Worst Movie of All Time!!!!

This movie is very good. I started off liking it, then hating it, and then by the end I loved it. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet give amazing performances, and I can`t wait till it comes out on DVD so I can buy it! It touches on all of your emotions!

It was a movie that makes you think "out of the box". Well done on an editing perspective. It made me think of Memento but in a different way. Not for everyone but a movie worth seeing. Go with an open mind and enjoy the trip. Romantic in an off beat way. 4 stars.

A beautifully intelligent love story

It runs on what people say, "It`s better to have loved then loss, than never have loved at all". The power of love and fate brings the two characters together and together yet again, and fixes all wrongs into right again. I saw this movie last night & I`m still confused =/ It threw my whole evening off *lmao* Not a good first date movie to see because you WILL be confused for the rest of the night and plus, you`ll already be distracted by your date so ... *heh*

Charlie Kaufman and Michel Gondry combine their collective talents to bring us "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". The movie is quite intellectual and if one is not adept at both thinking and watching a movie simultaneously then they will find themselve playing catch up with the script in a effort to understand what is really going on. One bright spot in the movie is the amazing cast. Portaying Jim Carrey as boring and dull while Kate Winslet radiates eccentricity was a beautiful touch that provides the viewer with a true example of juxtaposition. One of the best of the year. Another example of Kaufman`s ability to tell beautiful stories in unique ways. And for those who were expecting funny, too bad - it wasn`t meant to be funny, and Jim Carey IS a well rounded actor who can do more than just funny roles. Kate Winslet is also spectacular. the movie blowed, I know people should always know their roles, and jim carey`s role is to make people laugh, i`m not interested in his serious side, no offense to him, but this wasn`t for him

First off, ESSM isn`t an "art" film so don`t run away in the opposite direction...!!! In fact, this movie very much has a story and the story is told a little differently. Instead if just being laid out for the viewers, we see the story of Clemintine and Joel via Joel`s memories as they are being erased. There are many, many memories between Joel and Clementine, and who cares if they are chronological or not. These scenes are very touching and beautiful and Carrey and Winslet are superb. What could be called "wierd" is the fact that at some point, the movie unfolds from Joel`s memories, while they are being erased. So things start to disappea

An excellent movie, not meant to be funny, but meant to be an intellectually stimulating movie. I was hesitant about watching it because of Carrey`s past films being largely based on slapstick and "potty" humour. I was pleasantly surprized by this movie. If you liked "Being John Malkovich", you will probably like this film too.

Original stories in film these days are few and far in between. Thank you Charlie Kaufman for your genius..........
