A good all around movie....You feel good when you leave

I loved this movie for so many different reasons. I loved that the patience the 'Dr.' had with the King, and the perseverance the King had in wanting to be heard. This movie showed the vulnerabilities that comes with having a speech defect. The story setting, family and backgrounds set the scene superbly. There were a few slow parts, but overall it was a fantastic film!

It's a great movie, simple and yet ingenious. It brings the audience back to the basics and as it turns out the basics are just great. And yes, it is now an Oscar winning movie!!!

If only history class could have been this enjoyable! A beautifully acted and scripted film with sets and costumes that really bring the period to life. Geoffrey Rush deserved an Oscar - he was just as good as he was in Shine.

Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and the much overlooked Guy Pierce deliver tour de force performances here in a film that cannot be missed. It is so much more than a film about a man trying to overcome stuttering, a film about finding courage and inspiration when it really matters.

I saw this movie twice, as a long time fan of Colin Firth. Wow, I was very impressed...his acting has come along way. Also, I learned about my roots, my mother is English. Very impressed with Kate as well and the Australian person...the film moved me, very well done.

Smart,impressive, entertaining,sad,victorious, and eye-opening. Loved Colin Firth, and Jeoffrey Rush. The lifelong unlikely friendship between King George 6th and Lionel Logue unique. Knew a bit about it through the History Channel, now I think, I know the rest of the story.
