This movie was extremely deserving of its many Oscar wins, especially that of Colin Firth for best actor. This is a touching movie that is so much deeper than a person learning to speack fluently - he has personal struggles, family struggles, identity struggles, and the interaction between him and his therapist as well as with his wife truly make this a triumph to watch.
A well written story with great acting performances turns what should have been an ordinary tale into a must-see movie.
Storyline was very basic, but the acting was fantastic! Really good movie!
The Best Movies made don't require special effects and high speed camera tricks that are hard to watch. Best movie in such a long time. It will be a part of Peoples libraries like Gone with the wind, Etc.
A royal rendering
It will win an Oscar, awesome movie, great actors. I want it to win the Oscar tonite i can not wait to see it.

Well worth seeing
I'd be surprised if it didn't win the Oscar for the best picture!
had to wait a couple of weeks to see this movie as it was sold out in our little theatre but it was well worth the wait and the acting was superb and deserves all the accolades bestowed upon it
great story, great acting!
Outstanding acting and interesting historical perspective
Simply regal
excellent
good movie
The King's Speech is an Oscar winner. It is intelligent, entertaining, and somewhat "fact based." I have recommended it to many of my friends and they have all enjoyed it. Colin Firth is an Oscar Winner in this for sure!
I think its a great movie
The best of the bunch
Must See
Absolutly loved this film. Once again Collin Firth knocks your socks off.
Academy award winner
Great movie
FANTASTIC!!!! First movie in months that is worth every penny
Easily the best movie I have ever viewed. People applauded at it's conclusion. I can't remember the last time people did this. Ron, Shallow Lake Ontario Canada
excellent acting and a great story of a friendship! highly recommend!!
I went to see it three times and enjoyed it more each time. The acting is brilliant and although the movie may seem slow at times, it is full of comedic relief with witty banter between the king and therapist. Colin Firth must have been emotionally and physically exhausted by this role. He should win best actor and Geoffrey Rush and Helen Bonham-Carter deserve Oscars for best-supporting roles. Helena played her part with perfectly understated, elegant simplicity. Those who rated it poorly don't appreciate the fine acting or the triumphant story it told. Who knew? Agonizing over every speech must have made the King's reign torture. No wonder it only lasted 15 years. George VI died of he
