The Last Exorcism

Started to really love this movie...then the end...too bad!

I haven't commented here since District 9. OK here it goes:Dear hollywood...your audience does not like to be nauseated while watching a "stylish" hand held movie. We also don't like having our intelligence insulted by being fed a mix of tired old themes and cliches. After the first 10 minutes I knew I was gonna hate this movie...my daughter actually had to leave the room due to nausea...STOP FILMING MOVIES LIKE THIS!!!!IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH?!!!!

Just Horrible. I was so scared to see this movie and thought that what rolling stones said "it will give you a reason to be scared of the dark" would be true. But this movie was a joke.... waste of money and time.

Disappointing story line. Definitely will scare you and make you think about real life exorcisms and possessions. But like the previous review, "it just ended" Got a lot of boo's at the end from others in the theatre including myself. The story line just doesn't make sense. You'll have questions that can't obviously be answered. Boo!

Bad, bad, bad...Very dissapointing. Could be hedlined as "THE FIRST AND THE LAST EXORCISM".

Worth seeing but more of a comedy than a horror film.

very disappointed with this movie, thought it would be a scarier, compares nothing to exorcist or any comparible movie.

a complete waste of time and money, save yourself from this total piece of crap. as said before the movie had a lot of potential. the best parts are what was seen in the preview. I felt that we were all mislead because there were scenes in the preview that are not in the movie for example the poster shot of her climbing up the wall NEVER HAPPENED!!! and i will feel even more like a sucker if there is a un-cut DVD release afterwards. I wish i had another set of hands so i could give this movie 4 THUMBS DOWN

As a big fan of the original "Exorcist" movie, I really wanted to like this movie and although it starts off interesting it eventually lays a big fat egg. It turns out to be a "Rosemary's Baby" wannabe with a silly and confusing ending. This movie was reasonably good for 3/4 of the time and a major dud for the rest. Save your money and rent Rosemary's Baby. Lochnesshampster

WOW! everybodys being very kind to this movie, im a huge genre fan and didnt expect much , but i never expected it to be such a horrible terribly bad ,hugely disgusting piece of film making, this movie is unbearably bad, and the waiting time for something to happen is never, stay far far far far far away from this movie, save your money for something else, honestly it dont matter to me , just be warned chances are you wont like it, or hate less than i did, worst hollywood film this year by far, and possibly the worst movie ive seen in a long time, i really cant remember hating a movie this bad in awhile. i have nothing to loss since ive seen it, but save yourselfs from it. i kid not! N

Three stars... started out decent, documentary style, sort of like Paranormal Activity & Blair Witch, takes some time to get going, ending faulters.... overall okay...

Stupid,Stupid,Stupid... I have watch every horror movie ever made and this one takes the cake, I have never seen a movie so Stupid. Take your movie money and give it to the poor you would feel better then how you feel after you watch this movie, it makes you feel like you wasted hard earned money, empire theatre's shame on you for even playing this stupid move.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star more like -5 stars. Don't waste your money, STUPID MOVIE!!

Liked the actors. The story is a mashup of the blair witch, wickerman, and of course the exorcist. So, it felt tired. Nothing about it stuck with me because ive seen it all before. Perhaps im just too old a genre fan.

Hand-held videotaping is reminiscent of The Blair Witch movie and made me motion sick. Good acting especially Ashley Bell. Her ballet training apparently enabled her to perform all the physical contortions. I liked it but some of the audience booed at the end.
