Better that I expected. The action takes place in 1973 and there's a great soundtrack. Fabulous beginning, tremendous effects. Outstanding final battle. Acting wasn't Oscar worthy, and John Goodman who I love was lame in this one. John C. Reilly was the bomb. Young people especially will LOVE it!!........guru bob

Based on the trailer, the film looks like a great 'Saturday afternoon matinee' type film...great effects and great actors...looking forward to seeing it...

Kong is no more than 50 feet high so I don't think he's in this movie.
