scary as hell

I think this was one scary movie that kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. The sounds affects and the suspense made it a one in a life time horror movie that will make your heart pound!

*sigh* Why watch ,yet, another re-make? When people can watch the original.

It was an awsome movie. I have to admit i did jump and scream a few times. :)

Ryan Reynolds is the best actor I`ve erver seen

this movie was the best horror film i have seen in a long time....the acting was incredible...i was doubting ryan reynolds as a serious horror movie actor..seeings as how i am used to him in comedies..but he did a totally awesome job....i cannot wait until this movie comes to dvd...i just watched it an hour ago and i already want to watch it again....all in all great movie two thumbs up...

This movie was scary! It managed to channel the errie atmosphere of the original and other classic horror films. Although the loud bursts of music and sound effects become tiresome, they do a good job of shaking your nerves and adding the chilling visuals even to the end of the movie. A fine reproduction of a classic. If you havent seen it yet, make sure you have nerves of steel.

It was really scary! But really gorey too! I thought it was well done.

Alright i went to see this movie thinking it would an alright movie...well i was wrong AGAIN this movie was great man wayyy better then the original ( no doubt with technology today :P )...good acting, good scary scenes and well i gotta say its the best horror movie ive seen in a while! go see it man its worth it all

umm i dont know what peoples problems are but this is a SCARY movie its no knockoff of any other movie or whatever bull people are saying and they did an excellant job on the acting as well as the direction.every person i know said the movie was great and i agree.so if its such a bad movie quit complaining about it and find something else to do:)

Well....i thought this movie was AMAZING!!! It was really scary.. i wanted to cry!! lol....i saw it at the drive in to make it worse and the acting was great!!....The ending was so random and unpredictable it just keeps you thinking...

This is so lame. Most of it was just gore and stupid. There was only a few scary parts but they werent even that scary. And the ending was the lamest ending.. EVER!

Horror? no way wasn`t scary at all, i would say if you`re bored go see it but the characters don`t fit in the story, its wierd, but not as bad as the other movies that came out this month.. 2 stars at best.

Strangely enough the acting wasn`t bad.... The directing wasn`t great. The story was too choppy and there really wasn`t any character development. Never had the chance to care about the family. MAYBE a rental but don`t waste your money in the theatre.

This movie was made back in the 70`s with much better acting.

Not an academy winner, but very entertaining. It`s the best I`ve seen in long time within the horror movies category. Better than The Ring and Ring 2, and absolutely so much better than The Grudge. Hey guys take your girlfriends with you!

What a bad movie, not scary AT ALL It was a comedy if anything.

no doubt best performance by ryan renolds in his carrer so far. its amazing how his charecter switches persionalitys and moods as days go by, thats good acting. AND MY GOD IS IT SCARY i dont think 10 minites goes by without somthing scaring u, whoever said this is not scary oviusly cant admit to themselfs that at times that they do get scared, no doubt the scariest scence VISUAL WISE is when the kids in the bathroom near the sink (and its not what your tinking, that theres a face in the mirrior, ITS MUCH WORSE)there is a lot of creepyness, definate sudden scares, and suspense at times to keep u intrested, well done.

Best movie! SO much better than past remakes. Way to stick with the book`s plot. Jay Ansen`s novel was great but the movie gave me goosebumps. I have seen a lot of horror flicks and by far this one kicks butt! Pluss Ryan Reynolds is a total hottie.

Myself and my friends all enjoyed this version of the movie. Though I do advise everyone to read the book and/or see the original. As this "newer and better" version missed out on a lot and changed quite a bit as well. Over all the acting was good, the thrills were wonderful and the cinematography was amazing. If you have yet to see this film I would suggest you go and make your own opinios. (Because as you can see from the ratings, people either love it or hate it.)
