teeth in neck or tongue in cheek. this campy remake of a serial tv program has tim burton's stamp of bizarre and humourous blended in.

loved it! when i was a young teen i'd race home from school to watch the popular "soap opera" dark shadows. my mom as well as just about everyone loved barnabus, probebly because he was basically a good guy made to do evil by aq curse. the new one is just so funny and the special effects funtastic! i'd see it again!

i always enjoy any movie with johnny depp in it. with the awesome makeup, you can never tell that it's him.

i was pleasantly surprised as i am not a big tim burton fan. this was his best movie since edward scissorhands.

i am tired of this flaily character that johnny depp keeps recycling these past few years. and i am sorry, but i am a mega fan of the original series, and this just angers me. this movie could have been amazing, i was so looking forward to it. instead it's just incredibly lame.

this movie is definately a tim burton one, very dark but with that odd flash of humor. if you like tim burton movies, you will enjoy it. don't go in expecting a laugh a minute or you'll be dissappointed. i'd say it's a good date movie.

i was somewhat disappointed with the story line, seeing that tim burton directed the film, however the stars that were cast and the wacko characters made for a fun romp at the theatre.

as always, the tim burton - johnny depp duo made a direct hit to the funny bone. dialogue is witty and characters are well cast. michelle pfeiffer does an excellent job as the current matriarch of the collins family and helena bonham carter is a deliciously funny as the self-serving alcholic psychiatrist. i thorouly enjoyed this movie and will buy it when it is released on blu-ray / dvd.

i was very dissapointed with this movie. i was expecting a lot with it being a tim burton movie and with johnny depp but it was horrible. the trailer covered everything so you really dont even have to watch the movie. i would not waste my time and money in a theatre its a renter movie at best if you have to see it.
